Dick founded Schweickert & Company in 1979 and directs sales and marketing activities for the firm. He has served as chairman of an industry computer users group and as broker advisor to several managing general agencies and insurance companies.
Dick also has great insight into the nonprofit arts world, having served as President of The Orange County Arts Council, and as President of The Laguna Playhouse board.
